What kind of facility is used to store my data?
All of the information that runs through our network is housed in a state of the art data center built with safety and security in mind from the ground up.
Each of the housing structures incorporates a unique base-isolation design, which limits movement of our buildings in the event of an earthquake or other natural calamity. Each structure is also built with moisture-free protection systems, redundant communications connections, and UPS and backup generator power systems.
How are transcribers brought onboard and how do I know they are not giving my information to people?
Our transcribers are well qualified. They have a five year background check before they are brought onboard, and they never know you by name. They simply know you by number, which is one of the main reasons we provide a user I.D. to you. So when they receive your dictation it is simply from number. Please be assured that your information is kept secure.
Do I have the same transcriber every time I call into EVA?
No, your dictation is given to the first available transcriber. You might speak with the same person from time to time; however you are not assigned a specific transcriber.
How many transcribers does your company have?
Due to company policy, we are not allowed to give out this information.
What kind of computer is needed?
EVA will work with any PC Computer.
Will EVA work on a Mac?
• EVA will only work on a Macintosh if the Mac has access to Internet Explorer 5.1. If it does not have access to I.E. we can assist you in getting it installed on your Mac. However, even with I.E., use of EVA is very limited. For example, you will not be able to access contacts, finances, and some database items.
• EVA will work perfectly on Macintosh computers if and only if they have an Intel Chip, which gives Mac users the ability to run Windows, the program that is identical to a PC's system. Macs with the Intel chip even have the ability of purchasing Microsoft Outlook for their computer.
